Description

Author: Christopher Wood
Title: The spy who loved me (signed)
Year: 1977
Publisher: Cape

Price: £1,950.00

Christopher Woods' The Spy Who Loved Me is the novelisation of the film of the same name. The print run of this book was extremely small, and most copies went to lending libraries. This copy is a little different in the fact that the copy has been multiple signed by Christopher Wood (the author), Bill Botton (who designed the dust wrapper), Richard Kiel (who played the arch villian Jaws in the movie) and finally by Roger Moore (who played James Bond in the movie. In addition, Bill Botton has painted a portion of the dust wrapper on the title page. This is only one of a handful of paintings commissioned for this title and the painting is numbered 003.

Book Description
The book is in near fine condition, and the only thing preventing this book being described as fine is a small 4mm mark to the top page block. Internally the pages are very clean and fresh, and the black boards with gilt lettering to the spine are clean, sharp and unbumped.

Dustwrapper Description
The dust wrapper is in near fine condition, with the correct price of £3.50 net intact to the bottom corner of the front inside flap. There is a small close tear to the top left hand side of the spine, and some very slight nibbling to the wrappers' folds. A nice, clean and honest dust wrapper.
