When We Were Very Young is the first appearance of Winnie the Pooh in print. This book had an initial print run of just over 5,000 copies in 1924, and this is by far the rarest of the Pooh titles to obtain in a First Issue dust wrapper. The four other titles which followed this were printed in very large numbers, even in First Edition format.

Book Description
The book is in very good condition, and has blank white front and rear end papers as denoted in correct first edition format. Both front and rear end papers show signs of offsetting. Internally, the pages are clean with just one or two light finger marks. The blue boards are in nice condition with a few marks here and there, as is expected with a book of this age. There is a small owners name and date on the front end paper.

Dustwrapper Description
The dust wrapper is in very good + condition. There is some light chipping to the spine tips and to the flap corners. The jacket is unrestored and shows very well with only minimal tanning to the spine. The dust wrapper is the correct first issue. A very attractive example of a very scarce title.
